Following the murder of Gracie, Gray heads a lynch mob and uses the town’s anger for his own political gain; Mitchell Cafferty claims that Jonah Prowse is the culprit, but Mayor Green is dubious. Cliffhanger episode ending the first half of the first season of the show.
During the end of the Australian airing of the previous episode "Red Flag", an advertisement led viewers to believe that Dale will shoot Mitchell Cafferty. It also hinted at the possibility of Roger arriving in Jericho. Roger’s arrival is also suggested by Emily’s reaction in the preview of this episode, where her expression suggested she had just seen someone she did not expect to see when unknown people (probably those from the plane crash) show up. Additionally, the narrator spoke ominously about "someone or something" watching Jericho via a Google Earth-like program.
